OREANDA-NEWS. September 17, 2010. September 2010 the State launched a program of construction (purchase) of affordable housing in years 2010-2017, which provides cheaper cost of housing for citizens at the expense of state subsidies for 30% of the standard cost per square meter. This the Chairman of the State Fund for Youth Housing Leonid Rysuhin said today during a briefing at Government House.

Leonid Rysuhin said today that the Fund has received the first funds for the implementation of the program in amount of 100 million UAH. This amount will be invested in the completion of facilities in different regions of Ukraine, having a degree of readiness at least 70% and will be put in operation this year. In total, this year the program provides to allocate 331.2 million for affordable housing.

"There are objects where we offer the citizens to invest and we exercise control over the construction of these facilities. And most importantly, funds are available, we really can use to provide assistance to citizens on non-refundable 30% of regulatory costs and regulatory area of housing - Leonid Rysuhin said.

Besides that, the Head of the Fund noted that currently a mechanism is being developed to provide loans with State support in framework of this program.
