OREANDA-NEWS. September 17, 2010. As it was informed in the National Agency for Energy Regulation, the Agency was ready to appeal against the earlier taken decision of the Chisinau Appellation Court on suspension of effect of new gas tariffs for final consumers in the Supreme Court of Justice in case of its maintaining in force.

The Agency considered that the Court had neither reasons nor arguments for such a decision. Besides, it could result in reduction or cessation of Russian gas supply to Moldova by Gazprom.

On September 13 the Appellation Court suspended the effect of ANRE decisions on the basis of action of the United Moldova Party that protested in the court the validity of natural gas tariffs increase, considering them overrated.
