The representatives of Commerzbank AG, Germany, distinguished Sberbank with a "STP Award 2009" in recognition of excellent quality of payment orders channelled through Sberbank’s correspondent account in Euro at Commerzbank AG, Frankfurt/Main, during the year 2009, reported the press-centre of Sberbank.

As it was pointed out at the presentation ceremony, Sberbank’s straight-through processing rate exceeded 96 p.c. This rate brings Sberbank out to one of the leaders amongst all Russian and many foreign banks that maintain accounts with Commerzbank AG.

This international award serves as an obvious recognition of Sberbank's success in permanent improving quality of payment formatting, developing of IT-technologies and heightened attention to the needs and requirements of its customers.
