OREANDA-NEWS. September 16, 2010. The FSUE “Rosmorport” Kaliningrad branch received the delegation of Swedish administrative units, including head of strategy planning department of Karlskrona T. Almlof, international project “East West Transport Corridor II” manager H. Hokansson and Blekinge administration representative S. Sukhova, reported the press-centre of Rosmorport.

Within the limits of the Swedish delegation visit the working meeting was held. Representatives of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Kaliningrad branch, the Government of Kaliningrad Region, Baltic municipality, Northwest State Service Academy, Baltic State Academy, Immanuel Kant State University of Russia took part in the meeting from the Russian part.

The presentation of the FSUE “Rosmorport” and the seaport of Kaliningrad was held and the meeting. The development possibilities of regular navigation between Swedish ports and the seaport of Kaliningrad were the main theme of the meeting. Questions concerning Russian participation in European projects organizing transport connection between Europe and Asia were discussed during the meeting also.

As a result of the meeting Russian and Swedish parts noticed good cooperation prospects and further meetings necessity.
