Transaero Fleet Expands to 55 Aircraft
OREANDA-NEWS. September 14, 2010. Transaero Airlines,
With the addition of new aircraft Transaero’s fleet currently comprises twelve Boeing 747s, seven Boeing 777s, twelve Boeing 767s, twenty one Boeing 737s and three Tu-214s. Wide-body, long-haul aircraft now account for 31 of its total fleet of 55 aircraft.
The Boeing 777s, delivered to Transaero under the contract signed in spring 2010, are now in active operation on the Company’s Russian Far East routes where these high-speed, spacious and comfortable aircraft are further enhancing the quality of on-board service on domestic routes.
Under its signed agreements and in line with its growth strategy, Transaero will continue its fleet expansion with new generation aircraft in order to meet the requirements of its growing route network.
