Catel Intends to Expand CDMA Network in Northern Regions of Country
OREANDA-NEWS. September 14, 2010. The first in Azerbaijan mobile CDMA operator company Catel (functions under trademark Fonex) continues to expand CDMA network.
The company informed Fineko/abc.az, the company intends to place base stations in 3-4 northern regions of the country till the end of the year.
In early September, the company established a base station in Shamakhi, thereby, provided the population of nearby settlement Sabir, and road to post of Road-sentry service in Merezi, Muganli, Melhem, Pirgulu and Agsu.
Presently, the company renders mobile communication services, the Internet and SMS services of CDMA standard in Baku, Absheron, Sumgait, Kurdamir, Udzhare, Shirvan, Geychay, Mingachevir, Ganja, Shamkir, Agstafa, Balakan, Sheki, Shabrane, Nabran, Guba, Lankaran, Astara, Masalli, Jalilabad and Tovuz.
