OREANDA-NEWS. September 14, 2010. Namangan region department of the Central bank of Uzbekistan and commercial banks pay special attention to the development of cashless payments by plastic cards.

Presently the number of plastic cards introduced in Namangan region comprises 382,000 while the number of terminals amounts to 3,387 units.

Commercial banks plan to install 6,560 terminals and introduce 620,535 e-purses by the end of the year.
