Moldova to Sell State Stocks Shares in 51 Joint-Stock Companies
OREANDA-NEWS. September 13, 2010. As it was informed in the Ministry of Finance of Moldova, particularly, state’s stocks shares in 51 joint-stock companies are set out for sale at the under-the-hummer auction that will take place at the Stock Exchange of Moldova on September 21-24.
At the same time the stocks shares in 26 enterprises account for more than 50% of charter capital (over controlling interest). In the other join-stock companies the state stock shares for sale make up from 0,086% to 45,06%. Particularly, there are set out for sale the state stocks of shares in five tobacco-fermented factories in Falesti, Orhei, Floresti, Cupcini, Soldanesti and three canneries from Glodeni, Olanesti, Calarasi, in the enterprises of sugar industry (Sudzucker-Moldova, Cupcini-Cristal, Nord-Zahar), in winemaking enterprises (Fabrica de vinuri din Leuseni, Ungheni-Vin, Noroc), as well as in the enterprises of dairy (JLC, BabindLapte), and meat-processing industry (Carmez, Basarabia-Nord), and other sectors.
Besides, the state stocks of shares in two banks (Eurocreditbank and Moldinconbank) are set out for sale as well. The form of auction holding – is the sale of shares in single stocks by means of voice bidding. The person, offered the highest price, becomes the purchaser. According to the Ministry of Economy, at the same time 4 cinemas are set out at the investment competition on privatization that will last till October 7. They are sold providing preservation of their profile by means of transformation into the centers of culture and rest with minimal volume of investment of 17 million leis (USD1,4 million) during two years.
Besides, four state enterprises are set out at the commercial competition on privatization, particularly, Jewelry Plant Giuvaer, SE Energoreparatii, SE Indferotrans, and SE Vibropribor, as well as an airliner Yak-40. In addition, a competition on privatization of 12 unfinished buildings, located mainly in the cities, particularly, the Administrative building of the Institute of Microbiology and Virology in Chisinau at the address 59, Dacia str., sold in complex with adjacent 9 ha parcel, is announced from September 22.
