OREANDA-NEWS. September 10, 2010. The organizing committee of the Corporate Presentation Day (CPD) of IDGC of North-West and "Pergam-Engineering" company acted as the organizers of the seminar.

On 7 - 8 September, IDGC of North-West's branch hosts a field meeting, which is the first such meeting in the history of the CPD project. Besides plenary sessions, it will include real tests of cable lines in service with use of mobile laboratories Seba and Baur.

The action is organized in the form of a seminar-workshop, the main theme of which will become "Modern equipment of diagnostics in electric power industry". The organizing committee of the Corporate Presentation Day (CPD) of IDGC of North-West and "Pergam-Engineering" company acted as the organizers of the seminar.

The presentations and reports of engineering specialists of IDGC of North-West and heads of isolation services of the company’s branches devoted to modern development and methods of diagnostics of cable lines will be offered on the first day. The experts of the company "Pergamum Engineering" and the representatives of Baur (Austria), who specially arrived for participation in the CPD, will be among the reporters.

The second day will be devoted to tests - the comparative analysis of operation of mobile diagnostic Seba and Baur laboratories. The experts will be provided with an opportunity to observe performance of tests by Seba and Baur laboratories and to compare the analysis of operation of mobile diagnostic laboratories.

The CPD organizing committee considers that carrying out of practical seminars will be a useful practice. The equipment for diagnostics and monitoring will become the main theme of the next CPD-8, which will be held in St. Petersburg on 5 October in the traditional format of multimedia presentations.
