OREANDA-NEWS. September 10, 2010. Mobile divisions of IDGC of North-West’s branches ("Arkhenergo", "Vologdaenergo" and "Komienergo") will be involved in the large-scale training.

From 7 through 9 September, the Republic of Komi will host joint training for arrangement of interaction and elimination of serious process failures in electric grids in conditions of low temperatures. Besides the divisions of "Komienergo" branch of IDGC of North-West, the mobile forces and equipment of the branches "Arkhenergo" and "Vologdaenergo" will be involved in the training.

According to the plan of the training, 112 settlements with the population of 26 thousand people conditionally remain without electricity as a result of influence of the act of nature. The mobile brigades of the neighboring regions will come to rescue to liquidate consequences of the extreme situation and mass blackout.
The training will be held on the basis of the Sysolsky Electric Grid District. The power specialists will train in the acts of the operations headquarters and joint performance of repair and rehabilitation operations in the realistic training.

The important purpose of the training is also the arrangement of interaction with enforcement authorities and services of other departments - divisions of the EMERCOM, enterprises of housing and utilities services and contractor entities.

The headquarters for provision of electric power supply safety of consumers of the Republic of Komi, heads of the administration of the Sysolsky District, emergency rescue service of the EMERCOM Main Administration for the Republic of Komi will participate in the action.
