OREANDA-NEWS. September 09, 2010. The State Committee for  Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan (SCSMPA) has presented own Center of inquiries in regard to technical regulation.

Chief  of technical regulation and standardization department of SCSMPA Sabig Abdullayev said at the event, the draft program,  envisaging introduction of 70 state standards in power sphere for 2011-2013,  has  already been worked out and presented to Azerbaijan President.

“Introduction of them can result in  economy in sphere of power consumption to 30 %. This program very branchy. If to speak by a few words,  it is possible to achieve such economy of energy by introduction of modern technologies and equipment, application of other quality management systems in production process, upon  transporting energy carriers and taking into account other aspects,” S. Abdullayev said.

The center was established  supported by the German Society for Technical Co-operation (GTZ). Manufacturers, businessmen, exporters and importers functioning   in the country, can appeal  for inquiries on normative documents and technical regulations.
