OREANDA-NEWS. September 09, 2010. As part of the 6th Baikal International Economic Forum, State Corporation ‘Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)’ and State Corporation ‘Rostechnologies’ signed a Protocol of Intent.

On behalf of Vnesheconombank the Protocol was signed by Vnesheconombank Chairman Vladimir Dmitriev, on behalf of State Corporation ‘Rostechnologies’ – by its General Director Sergei Chemezov.

The Protocol aims to establish strategic partnership and promote long-term, effective and mutually beneficial cooperation between the parties in implementing investment projects and programs in biotechnologies, medical and pharmaceutical sectors.

Under the Protocol the parties are considering the possibility of their joint participation in raising funds to finance the following investment projects and programs:
projects in manufacturing raw materials for pharmaceutical industry and medications;
projects in manufacturing medical equipment and medical-purpose products.
programs to upgrade biological and pharmaceutical technologies.

The Protocol of Intent’s implementation would help to expand cooperation between the corporations.
