OREANDA-NEWS. September 09, 2010. As it was informed in the press service of the government, this was announced by President of the Management Board Marcin Kulicki at the meeting Prime Minister of Moldova Vladimir Filat.

“We want to produce sugar in Moldova as well. In this connection, we have already determined the possibilities of investment in your country in order to start to produce sugar the next year,” – Marcin Kulicki specified. He also emphasized that his company proposes not only to produce the qualitative sugar but to create the working places as well.

Besides, the products are to be oriented not only to local consumers, but to the export as well, especially to the EU countries. In his turn, Vladimir Filat noted that Moldova needed the companies in order to be able to propose qualitative products at the reasonable prices as a result. Premier also pointed that Moldova had the traditions in sugar production, as well as favorable climate conditions for this, assuring Marcin Kulicki of Chisinau authorities’ support.

First advisor of Poland Embassy in Chisinau Marcin Nosal, attending the meeting, announced that the Poland authorities supported the economic relations of Moldova and Poland, noting that Polski Cukier company decided to invest in Moldova one of the first, but the other companies in the field of production of paper and autobuses also expressed their interest to invest in Moldova.
