OREANDA-NEWS. September 09, 2010. Government at its session plans to adopt a draft resolution aimed at improving the procedures for appointing and providing subsidies to the population. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said that at the Cabinet of Ministers session.

According to the Head of the Government, the document "specifies circumstances of recalculation, without application of citizens, establishes a clear decision taking regarding subsidies time frame, settles the issue of providing subsidies to elderly citizens who live in homes where personal accounts are on others."

In addition, as noted Mykola Azarov, housing subsidies will be appointed for the entire heating season for pensioners and disabled citizens, and those working are to provide an income statement. In his words, specific approaches will be applied to citizens who are engaged in small businesses.

Mykola Azarov also addressed the ministries concerned the requirement to simplify the form of a declaration of income of citizens applying for subsidies. "Norms that cause the just indignation of the citizens and are not the factor in the state decision to improve the social protection of citizens are to be excluded from the declaration", - he stressed.
