BTA Bank Announced Transfer to Individual Identification Numbers (IIN)
OREANDA-NEWS. September 8, 2010. JSC BTA Bank is pleased to announce that in compliance with the Law of the
Business Identification Number (BIN) is a unique number formed for a legal entity (branch and representative office) and individual entrepreneur acting as mutual individual entrepreneur (12-digit numerical code included into registration certificate since August 14, 2007).
Individual Identification Numbers (IIN) is a unique number formed for an individual entrepreneur acting as a sole entrepreneur and individual persons (12- digit numerical code included into ID Cards since January 1, 1998).
Starting from January, 2012 certificate of state registration (re-registration) of legal entity, record registration (re-registration) of branch in case of absence of BIN shall be invalid.

Since January 1, 2012 BIN and IIN shall be used upon:
— — opening and maintenance of accounts with banks and organizations performing some types of banking transactions;
— — payments and transfers including compulsory pension installments and social payments as well as tax obligations.
In this regard in order to get continuous service legal entities shall provide certificates on state registration (re-registration) with identification number (BIN/IIN) to the Bank till December 1, 2011.
From January 1, 2012 further banking services (such as acceptance and processing of payment documents, opening and maintenance of accounts) to customers will not be provided in the following cases:
— — In the absence of identification number (BIN/IIN) in state registration (re-registration) certificate and other documents;
— non-provision of state registration (re-registration) certificate with identification number to the Bank’s branch.
