OREANDA-NEWS. September 08, 2010. The funds will be allocated to the country for overcoming the consequences of the global financial crisis, covering the balance-of-payment deficit and the budget deficit.

The money will come in three or four tranches: two in 2010, and the rest in 2011. The EU grant will supplement the financial support already provided to Moldova by the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank and other financial organizations and country-donors.

This EUR90 million EU grant must help the Moldavian authorities in promotion of reforms and further integration with EU.
