Western Banks to Lend USD 250 mn to Transcreditbank
OREANDA-NEWS. September 03, 2010. Transcreditbank and Gazprombank are to take loans at Western Banks. In particular, Gazprombank is to raise a 3-year USD 750 mn loan. The deal coordinator is SMBC, bookrunners are WestLB AG, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Ltd., Barclays Capital, Credit Agricole CIB, Deutsche Bank AG, ING Groep NV, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Mizuho Financial Group Inc. and Citigroup Inc. The loan is meant for general corporate accounts and for financing the bank’s current debt.
Transcreditbank is to attract a 2-year USD 250 mn loan at LIBOR + 2.75%. WestLB is the loan coordinator and bookrunner. The credit is to be provided by a syndicate of Barclays Capital, BNP Paribas SA, Citigroup, Commerzbank, Credit Suisse Group AG, ING Groep NV, JP Morgan Chase & Co., Raiffeisen Zentralbank Oesterreich AG, UniCredit SpA, and Intesa Sanpaolo SpA. General syndication is to be started September 13-19.
