OREANDA-NEWS. September 03, 2010. This August, the Department of Marketing & Economic Operations of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) exported 184,546 tons of oil products.

In August, price for a ton of motor petrol made up USD 682,92, aviation fuel - USD 683,99, diesel fuel USD 645,500 and black oil USD 459,510 per ton,” SOCAR informed.

According to SOCAR, this August’s overall export of Azerbaijani oil products increased from 160,730 tons to and 184,546 tons and reached 1.287 million tons in January to August.

In 2009, maximum export was registered in February (206,468 tons) and in 2008 in October (343,742 tons).

For the past year overall export of petroleum products made up 1.968 million tons versus 2.58 million tons over 2008.

In 2010, this export still makes up 56% of the 2009 volume.
