Omsk OFAS Russia Initiated Case against Supplies of Buckwheat
OREANDA-NEWS. September 03, 2010. Having analyzed the situation with growing retail prices for peeled buckwheat in the Omsk region, the Omsk Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (OFAS Russia) have initiated proceedings against several suppliers, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.
Cases are initiated against the following suppliers of food products in the Omsk region: “Skourenko” Trading House” Ltd., “Melnitsa” Trading House” Ltd., an individual entrepreneur Frik and an individual entrepreneur Odintsov for the signs of violating Article 11 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”.
The case is scheduled for 9th September 2010.
Currently the antimonopoly bodies are carrying out inspections in the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Bryansk, Voronezh, Vologda, Ivanovo and some other regions to verify whether increase of prices for peeled buckwheat is justified.
