The chromatographic analysis allows to diagnose troubles in oil-immersed equipment at an early stage. The condition of transformer oil sampled from power oil-immersed equipment and the concentration of gases in this oil help to judge about a type of the trouble.

Now only 110 kV equipment is diagnosed. Power transformers of 35 kV will be the next as regards their diagnostics. The chromatographic research for used equipment is the most relevant research.
