OREANDA-NEWS. September 2, 2010. Stirol, the major Ukrainian fertilizer producer, has commissioned the second unit for carbamide production, a company representative announced Sep 1. It was also said that the company is currently preparing the second ammonia unit for commissioning.

Millennium Capital considers the news as positive for the company. In the short term, Stirol will restart full production of primary fertilizers. The production at the units was shut down for more than 12 months due to the negative profitability caused by high natural gas prices.
