OREANDA-NEWS. September 1, 2010. INTER RAO UES and Rosenergoatom have agreed on main parameters of the contract on electric power supplies from Baltic NPP which is under construction.

It is a long-term contract (will remain in force for 20 years after startup of the first power unit of Baltic NPP, i.e. till 2036) which includes a provision on change of price and business environment at Russian and foreign energy markets.

The electric power supplies for export to Baltic countries will be performed through INTER RAO Lithuania affiliated company. The corresponding business procedures will be held in the nearest future.

During the meeting of the Trade Committee of INTER RAO UES the sale parameters of Kaliningrad TPP-2 second power unit which is under construction (it is to be commissioned in December 2010) have been approved.
