During the celebrations of the 83rd Anniversary of the Leningrad Region being held in Kingisepp, the EuroСhem Company allocated another RUR 5m for the reconstruction of the P.N. Prokhorov Central Regional Hospital. The money will be spent on repair works in the maternity ward and for the reconstruction of the hospital pharmacy.

The total amount of funding allocated for the hospital in 2010 reached RUR 11m, including RUR 6M provided for repair works on the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) laboratory that provides opportunities for advanced medical investigation in the detection of latent infections.

We would like to mention that EuroСhem had previously purchased an exclusive piece of supersonic diagnostic equipment for the Kingisepp Hospital, a computer-based Toshiba tomography scanner for RUR 20m. Currently this is one of the most important tools for performing a wide range of diagnostic procedures. In particular, it can help detect visceral malformations at an early stage, and this high-accuracy diagnostics is the key to high-quality and quick treatment.
