OREANDA-NEWS. September 1, 2010. CJSC Kavkazcement set a new record for cement production, 284 thousand tons and for dispatches, 292.7 thousand tons.

It should be noted that this is an all-time high operational achievement recently attained in summertime by CJSC Kavkazcement when operating as part of the Group.

In July 2010 CJSC Kavkazcement performed above record levels in 2007 when the plant produced 282.3 thousand tons and dispatched 282.4 thousand tons of cement.

In addition, clinker production was 13% up on the same period of the previous year, cement production –19 % and dispatches –8.4%.

The production and dispatch growth pattern in the ‘hot months’ of the summer season shows that the company opted for the right strategy and tactics.

It should be reminded that in early May the editorial board and readership of Argumenty y Fakty (Arguments & Facts) – Northern Caucus weekly recognized CJSC Kavkazcement as the prize winner in Cement Industry Heavyweight & Quality Excellence based on 2009 year-end performance.

As is widely known it was CJSC Kavkazcement that had been awarded the top prize in 2009 as the EUROCEMENT Group’s best performing plant.
