Russia Confirms Regulations on Safety Facilities at Sea Transportation
OREANDA-NEWS. September 01, 2010. In accordance with the Federal law "On technical regulation" by the governmental order of the Russian Federation № 620 technical regulations about facilities safety at sea transportation which establishes obligatory minimal requirements of facilities safety at sea transportation, directed to achievement of the purposes provided by technical regulations about facilities safety at sea transportion, are confirmed, reported the press-centre of Rosmorport.
The above-stated technical regulations cover facilities under techchnical regulations and processes connected with facilities technical regulation requirements (including research for construction), buildings, operations (including taking out from operation and repairs) and recycling of facilities under technical regulations.
Facilities under technical regulations are:
a) facilities of sea transport operated on the territory of the Russian Federation, including:
sea-crafts during their operation both on shipping routes, and on internal waterways, vessels of internal operation, and also mixed-usage vessels (river - sea) during their operation on shipping routes and internal waterways at realization of cargo transportations, passengers transportation and their luggage with calling into a foreign seaport;
materials, products and equipment for the vessels;
b) operation processes (including taking out from operation and repairs) and recycling of facilities under technical regulations;
c) facilities of infrastructure at sea transport, including moorings and road reloading complexes;
d) designing processes (including research for constructio), buildings, operation (including taking out from operation and repairs) and connected with facilities technical regulation requirements.
