OREANDA-NEWS. September 01, 2010. Termination of the agreement between AB Ukio bankas and insurance company PZU Lietuva, caused the changes of terms and fees of Security Program, reported the press-centre of Ukio Bankas.

After revising a package of services of Security Program and refusing the least valuable services of this package, from 1st October this year the Bank will compensate financial loss resulting from unauthorized use of the card to Security Program participants. From 1st October 2010 Security Program fee decreases from LTL 1.95 to LTL 1.75 a month.

Additionally, maximum compensated amount has been changed – new terms estimate compensation of loss within the standard daily transaction limit of a purchase and service payment that is published along with the payment cards issue and servicing fees.

From 1st October 2010 Security Program will be applied to all credit cards issued and renewed after this date (except for virtual) though participation in the program is voluntarily for debit card holders.

Security Program remains effective until 30th September 2010 for all issued and valid cards the holders of those had chosen insurance coverage according to prior effective terms of Security Programs and the new terms and fees will be applied automatically.
