ROSNO Pays 7 mn Roubles for Stolen BMW Vehicles
OREANDA-NEWS. September 01, 2010. ROSNO’s North-Western Directorate has paid three private clients the MOD insurance compensations of 7,087,095 roubles for their stolen vehicles. All stolen vehicles were BMWs, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.
The BMW X6, manufactured in 2009, owned by a private individual, was stolen in the night from Tsentralny district of St. Petersburg. The vehicle was left at the parking lot of the bank office located near the client’s house. Though the parking lot had been equipped with video surveillance cameras, the insurant found no trace of his vehicle the following morning. IC ROSNO has paid the client an insurance compensation of 4,046,441 roubles.
The owner of BMW 325, manufactured in 2007, left his car at 9:00 a.m. at the parking lot near his house in Moskovsky district, but found no trace of his car half an hour later. The client was paid an insurance compensation of 1,733,479 roubles.
The BMW 530i, manufactured in 2008, was stolen at noon in Primorsky district. The insurance compensation paid by ROSNO equalled 1,307,175 roubles.
All of the abovementioned vehicles had been insured with ROSNO against the risks of damage, fire and theft. According to ROSNO’s statistics for the first half of 2010, the most frequently stolen vehicles in St. Petersburg were BMW X6 and X5, along with Subaru Forester, Toyota Land Cruiser and Chevrolet Lacetti.
