OREANDA-NEWS. August 31, 2010.  Due to introduction of the uniform industrial purchase standard SCP OJSC (a part of TVEL, a Rosatom fuel company) has saved 127 million rubles for 6 months of 2010.

In the first half of 2010 Siberian Chemical Plant OJSC concluded 1,299 contracts for purchase of goods, works and services for the amount of 2 billion 102 million rubles. In the first quarter the plant performed purchases according to the results of competitive procedures for the amount of 493 million rubles (or 42% of the total purchase amount). The purchases from the sole supplier amounted to 660 million rubles (or 58% of the total purchase amount).

During the half year dynamics of the purchases according to results of the competitive procedures was positive. As a result, in the second quarter the purchases according to results of the competitive procedures amounted to 1 billion 310 million rubles (or 85 % of the total purchase amount). The purchases from the sole supplier amounted to 238 million rubles (or 15% of the total purchase amount).

Director of SCP OJSC Vladimir Korotkevich noted that applying of the competitive procedures allowed saving plant’s financial funds. Moreover, increase of the purchase number held on the competitive basis provides directly proportional positive result. Thus, the economic effect of the first quarter amounted to 25.29 million rubles, and the economic effect of the second quarter grew up to 101.67 million rubles. Therefore, in the first half year the plant managed to save 127 million rubles.
