OREANDA-NEWS. August 31, 2010. The Samara branch of OJSC IC ROSNO has insured risks incurred in connection with the construction and assembly works performed by CJSC "Samarsky Zavod "Elektroschit-Stroyindustriya". The insurer’s liability limit under this contract is 61,536,385 roubles, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

IC ROSNO has insured the works performed by this enterprise during construction of a production base at one of the Ural-based energy facilities. The insurance protection applies to the entire scope of construction and assembly works, as well as to the equipment located at the construction site and the construction machinery used at the site. The insurance coverage includes protection against the following risks:

fire, explosion, lightning stroke, aircraft impact;

natural disasters: storm, hail, earthquake, avalanche, flood, landslide;

soil subsidence, underflooding;

deliberate third-party actions aimed at damaging the insured property, burglary, robbery and brigandage;

breakdown of plumbing systems: water supply, sewage, heat supply lines;

installation errors;

collapse of, or damage to, the facility, including the same due to collapsing or falling parts.

Also, the civil liability of OJSC "Samarsky Zavod "Elektroschit-Stroyindustriya" has been insured against the risk of damaging property, life and health of the third parties in the course of construction and assembly works performed by this enterprise.

ROSNO provides insurance coverage for the entire construction period and for 1 year of post-commissioning warranty after full commissioning of a ready-built facility.
