IDGC of North-West’s Took Part in International Congress CIGRE-2010
OREANDA-NEWS. August 30, 2010. Within the framework of his trip, Mr Alexander Kukhmay will also visit the plants Schneider Electric and hold negotiations with the company’s management.
On 22-24 August, in the Congress Palace of Paris, the meeting of the International Council on Large Electric Energy Systems (CIGRE-2010) will be held and the exhibition will be arranged presenting equipment for electricity generation and transmission; equipment for monitoring and provision of safety and protection; know-how of the largest companies; training technologies; thematic publications; devices for certification, measurement and testing facilities.
On invitation of the president of “Electropolis” Distribution Grids Club, IDGC of North-West’s’ General Director Alexander Kukhmay takes part in the work of the International Congress. He is in France with working visit.
The Head of IDGC of North-West will participate in the joint consultations with representatives from energy companies of different countries, hold negotiations with the leading producers of equipment and examine the exhibits of the CIGRE-2010 exhibition.
Within the framework of the working visit, IDGC of North-West’s General Director Alexander Kukhmay will also visit the principal office of Scneider Electric in Paris, where he will meet with the management and visit the company’s plants, which produce modern equipment for the fuel and energy complex, which is widely used at the facilities of the electric grid complex.
“It is necessary to be on top of issues, to know the market and suppliers well in order to perform an unbiased expert estimation while defining the criteria of choosing the suppliers of products for the electric grid complex,” IDGC of North-West’s management says.
