Turkmenistan Put into Operation New Grain Elevator
OREANDA-NEW. August 30, 2010. The ceremony of putting a grain elevator with the capacity of 50,000 tons into operation took place in Yoloten Etrap in Mary Velayat. The facility built in accordance with the Resolution of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov by Hungarian IKR Babolna JSC occupies the four-hectare area.
The grain elevator built in compliance with environmental standards and norms includes three silos, the platforms for wheat grain drying and sheds, storehouses, administrative building, laboratory and other facilities. The granary is equipped with power supply, heat and ventilation systems. Special equipment and instruments will ensure fire safety.
The computer-aided control and automation system will enable to monitor the whole process including weighting, quality control, location and storage of wheat grain and regulate the humidity levels round-the-clock. 24 specialists trained to handle these operations will work there.
Grain will be delivered from farmers associations in Yoloten and Murgap Etraps. Also, grain will be transported by rail to the grain elevator built in immediate proximity to the Mary-Serhetabat branch railway.
The cabinet ministers, deputies of the Mejlis, local high-ranking officials, the representative of the public organisations of the Galkynysh National Movement, mullahs, builders and local people took part in the ceremony of putting the grain elevator into operation. Local amateur art groups and sportsmen presented performances for ceremony participants and guests. On this occasion the expositions of bakery foods and agricultural equipment were arranged there. The presents were given to the best builders on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan.
