OREANDA-NEWS. August 30, 2010. The delegation of JSC “Murmanskoye Morskoye Parokhodstvo” (“Murmansk Shipping Company”) lead by Director General Alexander Medvedev has paid a duty visit at Sevmash.

A conference on sale of the chemical tanker, which is in the slipway now, has been held at the enterprise. As Nikolay Kalistratov, Sevmash Director General, said, MMP has given a principal consent to purchase the tanker. Murmansk specialists made a detailed market research and made a conclusion that such ships are in demand.

The first tanker is at the final stage of construction now: its trim makes up about 70%. Besides, the equipment for the ship has been almost completely bought. The MMP delegation has already been to Sevmash more than once and has seen the progress at the tankers. The specialists noted a high level of the shipbuilders’ work.
