OREANDA-NEWS. August 30, 2010. The Government of Belarus has endorsed a concept of the Union State program Development of an Integrated System of Space Technology Standardization as part of the Union State Programs and Projects (Standardization program) for 2011-2014. The decision is contained in Council of Ministers’ Resolution No 1227.

Under the document, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus is to submit the concept to the Union State Council of Ministers.

The program will aim at coordinating the efforts of Belarusian and Russian scientists in space technology standardization and certification. The implementation of the program will help create an integrated system of space technology standardization and certification within the Union State programs.
