OREANDA-NEWS. August 27, 2010. Akbar Gasemi - Aliabadi, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Ukraine visited steel pipe and railway wheel company Interpipe, during which he met the management board of the company and saw the production of steel pipes at the NTRP mill.

Aliabadi noted the big potential for collaboration between Interpipe and Iranian oil and gas companies, particularly with the country’s vast oil and gas fields and Interpipe’s expertise in producing quality pipes for the industry.

Commenting on the visit, Fadi Hraibi, Director for Products and Resource Management at Interpipe, said:

“Interpipe is not a new player to the Iranian market. We have had positive past experiences in supplying products for the country’s oil and gas, construction and machinery businesses. Indeed, Interpipe has been the only railway wheels exporter to Iran in the years 2006 – 2008 and we hope the meeting with Ambassador Alibadi will enable us to revive relations with the country’s industrial businesses”.
