OREANDA-NEWS. August 27, 2010. The Government has fully fulfilled the obligations on repayment of wage arrears to miners. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said that today opening the session of the Government.

"The coal industry is one of the highest priority for the Government. The proof of this is the fulfilment by the Government in full volume of obligation to pay wage arrears to miners. The Government will work that in future the debt did not exist at all" - Mykola Azarov emphasized.
The Prime Minister also focused special attention on improving the working conditions of miners, because Ukraine has only about 15% of the mines complying with these standards of industrial safety.

"We must introduce a tight control over security, finance, and to dedicate significant resources and make major organizational effort" - concluded the Head of Government.
