OREANDA-NEWS. August 27, 2010. The projects are set up for auction for holding of second and third stages of lake reconstruction in Valea Morilor, organized by the Municipal Administration of Capital Construction. Three companies are ready to invest from 47 to 50 million leis.

Only one company, out of them, presented a banking guarantee totaling to 472 thousand leis for starting of construction works. The results of the auction will be communicated within 10 days. The company-winner will execute the hydro-technical construction works and will fill the lake with water.

Thus, it’s necessary to build two decanters, protection dams and to strengthen the banks of the lake. It should be mentioned that a range of buildings, including a five-star hotel on the water, a beach and some sport clubs will be constructed in Valea Morilor park. About €218 million are required for implementation of the project. The City Hall doesn’t posses the required amount and hopes to attract it from investors.
