OREANDA-NEWS. August 26, 2010. On the threshold of 19th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan the National Bank of Uzbekistan for Foreign Economic Activities (NBU) introduced a new fixed-time deposit "Poytaht" in national currency.

The deposit period of "Poytaht" is 60 days with the interest rate at 24% APR. The interest is paid upon the expiry of the deposit period.

Additionally, NBU reports on prolongation of the period of the following fixed-time deposits: "Alomat", "Izzat", "Matonat", "Chinor", "Samo" and "Tiklanish" on the established terms and conditions.
