OREANDA-NEWS. August 25, 2010. OJSC VolgaTelecom (RTS: NNSI/NNSIP, MICEX: VTEL/VTELP, ADR: VLGAY) has paid dividend on its preferred shares.

At August 20, 2010 the total dividend paid on preferred shares amounted to RUB 403.35 million. The size of dividend accrued on one preferred share is RUB 3.600753. The amount of dividend accrued per a share – RUB 5.199311. The dividend was paid in cash.

The resolution of the rate of dividend and the time period of its payment was passed by annual general meeting of OJSC VolgaTelecom’s shareholders on June 21, 2010. The amount of dividend accrued on preferred shares amounted to RUB 426.26 million. Non-performance of obligation to pay dividend in full is related to the non-appearance of shareholders in the issuer’s office for receiving dividend by cash, and also to incorrect or incomplete information on the requisites of the bank accounts and mailing addresses of shareholders. Dividend to the said shareholders will be paid as they appear in the issuer’s office or after specifying the bank details for cash transfer.
