OREANDA-NEWS. August 25, 2010. Chisinau construction company Vicons-Service won tender for building of houses for victims in Cotul Morii and Nemteni villages, Hincesti region. According to the Ministry of Construction and Regional Development (MCRD), Vicons-Service – is the only construction company that met the qualification conditions of the open tender, organized by the MCRD, for construction of 560 two- and three-room apartment houses.

At determining the winner there were taking into account, particularly, the offer price and performance time. It should be noted, initially, 49 construction companies that purchased the materials for participation in the tender, displayed an interest in the project. By the final date only 18 companies submitted the documents.

The rest of the companies refused because of delay. Tender proposals that offered the bigger cost input than it was estimated, or those that included in tender proposals the cost with VAT, or without the letter with banking guarantee were declined as well. At the initial estimation, the construction of 560 houses will cost 500 million leis. Besides the construction of new houses the Government will buy the houses for suffered families.

According to Deputy Minister of Construction Anatol Onceanu, up to now 72 families wished the houses to be purchased for them. Some of them want the houses in Hincesti or Chisinau’s suburbs, being ready to pay the difference.
