OREANDA-NEWS. August 24, 2010. Allianz Ukraine Insurance Company indemnified corporate clients total loss of UAH 247,379 for two cars insured under the Formula motor hull insurance program. A loss event involving BODEX KIS 3W semitrailer has occurred on the motorway Schyrets-Pustomyty. Because of the skidding of the truck train while turning, the driver lost control of the car and it skidded to the left side of the road, and the semitrailer ditched and turned upside down. As a result of the traffic accident, the left side of the semitrailer got serious damage, the power lift and the back-end cover tore off. Allianz Ukraine Ins.Co. indemnified the owner in the amount of UAH 137,813. A loss event involving DAF FTG 85.4 has occurred on the motorway Znamyanka-Uman-Khmelnytskii-Stryi. Being blinded by the distance light of the oncoming car, the truck driver missed the turn and failed to slow down, as a result of which the truck train ran off the road, while the semitrailer turned upside down. As a result of the traffic accident, the insured vehicle got serious mechanical damage. Allianz Ukraine Ins.Co. paid out an insurance indemnity to the vehicle owner in the amount of UAH 109,566.
