OREANDA-NEWS. August 24, 2010.  State commercial insurance company Azersigorta is leader regarding  volume of insurance  premiums among insurers of Azerbaijan in 2010.

The Insurance Supervision Service informed, by 1st August, Azersigorta collected premiums in the amount of AZN  13.78 million. Then Azal Sigorta company (AZN 10.85 million), further – Az Sigorta (AZN 7.67 million), Ateshgah (AZN 7.29 million) and the International Insurance Company (IIC) (AZN 6 million) follow. 27 insurers of the country gathered for the reported  period 88.56 million of the premiums in all.

In  regard to payments Azersigorta was leader too (AZN 6.04 million), further A-Qroup (AZN 3.19 million), IIC (AZN 3.15 million), MBASK (AZN 2.11 million) and PASHA (AZN 1.43 million). Total  payments of 27 insurers made AZN  26.81 million.

By 1st August, exchange rate made AZN 0.8036 for US dollar.
