OREANDA-NEWS. August 24, 2010. Near 67% of Moldavian citizens are not satisfied with economic situation in the country, - inquiry of IMAS-INC. According to the inquiry Public-political barometer (PPB), held by the Institute of marketing and surveys IMAS-INC, the number of those who is not satisfied with economic situation in Moldova reduced by 4 pp as compared to April 2010 (71%).

The share of those, who is satisfied with economic situation of the country is 6% (in April – 3%, in 2009 – 8%). At the same time 49% of pollees told their economic situation is worse than the year before (52% - in July 2009), and 15% note its improvement (16% - in July 2009). Following the results of inquiry, 31% of pollees assess the activity of Filat’s government as very good and quite good, 40% consider it neither good, nor bad.

At the same time only 30% of population consider that situation in Moldova goes in right direction, while according to 52% of population the direction is mistaken. About 55% of pollees aren’t satisfied with standard of life that, according to PPB, remains on the lowest level over 5 years, only 14% of pollees are optimistic in this regard. The PPB was carried out from July 26 to August 12, 2010 with participation of 2012 people from 106 localities, the error makes up 2,2%.
