OREANDA-NEWS. August 24, 2010. A new product of special credit cards line has appeared in the local market of payment cards. The credit card named “Traveller” with open credit line can be obtained by the holders of Schengen, USA, UK, Canada, Australia and Japan visas got not later than one year ago, reported the press-centre of Bank Standard.

In order to obtain a card the client should present to any of the Bank Standard branches an ID and a foreign passport with one or more of the above-mentioned visas. Registration, including verification of customer’s credit history, opening of credit line and issue of a card takes no more than 5 working days. Depending on the number of visas available in client’s foreign passport, the size of a credit line for him/her can reach up to 3,000 AZN/USD/EUR. Visa Gold or MasterCard Gold cards are given at choice of the customer.

Along with a number of special services and products provided to cardholders, the holders of new credit cards will also be able to enjoy a special service "Emergency Cash”. If the client, when being abroad, loses his/her credit card, then by dialing phone number 158 of Bank’s information service, he/she may receive an urgent money transfer from Bank Standard in the size of his credit line balance. The remittance is carried out to any point of the world via urgent money transfer system Western Union.

Bank Standard has issued recently a similar special credit card "Subscriber", the credit line size of which can reach 10,000 AZN.
