OREANDA-NEWS. August 23, 2010.  Russia expects that the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), at least will preserve  volumes of oil export via  pipeline Baku-Novorossisk.

According to a sales  representative of Russia in Azerbaijan Yuriy Shedrin,  over the  first half of year SOCAR has already exported 1.048 million tons of Azerbaijani oil via the conduit.

“According to the company’s plans, following the results of 2010, export via the pipeline will make 2 million tons,” Y. Shedrin said.

Baku-Novorossisk is the third in  regard to significance export pipeline  of Azerbaijan after Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan and Baku-Supsa.
