OREANDA-NEWS. August 23, 2010.  Robbery, which is record  in relation to efficiency, took place  in a  commercial bank.

The AtraBank OJSC informed Fineko/abc.az,  Nizami  department  (settlement 8th  kilometer of Baku) of the bank was robbed  during  3-4 minutes.

“Malefactors came  into the  branch’s premise, broke an automated teller machine in the  office and stole the money in it,” the  bank informed. The police estimate damage at AZN 4,000 and USD 10,000.

“Size of the  damage will be protected, as the report on operations through the automated teller machine is received, delaying during half of day,  and we  have not had last report as yet,” the  bank informed. there  were no people in the branch during theft.

“The branch had no night protection, and was on automatic system of protection of the Interior Ministry. The system functioned upon breaking, but the police did not manage to detain criminals as, under its data, robbers spent  3-4 minutes on breaking and theft,” the bank informed.

The  banks’ employees are surprised over these crimes as automated teller machines of other banks are placed even outside of the banks and are not plundered.
