Vice PM of Ukraine: Economy Is Gradually Emerging from Crisis

According to him, over the same period the industrial production increased by 11,4%. "The situation is extremely difficult, but we are still slowly emerging from the crisis. This primarily concerns the basic industries, which can make certain conclusions" - Andriy Klyuyev said.
The Senior Vice Prime Minister also noted that the situation has improved considerably in the industry. "However, in the chemical industry we have a difficult situation - recently world prices for its products decreased once again" - he said and hoped that by the end of the summer the predictions will come true for the revitalization of domestic demand for products of chemical industry in the world market. "Then we can speak confidently about the stabilization of production in this industry" - Andriy Klyuyev said.
Speaking about what the present government has done during six months, the Senior Vice Prime Minister said: "We put things in order in finance, in balanced budget, as far as possible in current extraordinary circumstances, to pay off debts of the State, which we inherited from the former government . We can say that today all domestic State loans for the past periods are actually repaid.
According to Andriy Klyuyev, the realization of large infrastructure projects is renewed in all the regions, which for one reason or another have been frozen. "Have you seen six months ago that somewhere someone was realy building something? Only now, the work on large objects became animated, on some - the construction is almost around the clock, the control over the execution of projects has been strengthened" - the Senior Vice Prime Minister said.
