OREANDA-NEWS. Until August 30 - due to changes in per cent compulsory payment from 20 to 15 and from 15 to 10 percent of the average monthly gross income - in the regions massive recalculations of previously designated nationals housing subsidy recipients should be carried out without appeal. It was said by the Minister of Labour and Social Policy of Ukraine Vasyl Nadraga during regional meeting in Luhansk, which analyzed the work on the appointment of public subsidies under the simplified procedure held in Luhansk and Donetsk region.

The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Housing Sergei Lasik, chief specialists of departments of Labour and Social Welfare, representatives of local authorities, main offices of the Pension Fund, housing maintenance organizations, gas and energy supply companies, members of the provincial working committees (headquarters) on coordination of provision of public housing subsidies under the simplified procedure.

"Enhancing social protection for payment of housing and communal services - is the policy decision of the Government. We have in front of us the task of ensuring the full social security of our citizens in terms of appointment and provision of housing subsidies. It is necessary that everyone felt a real concern of the authorities about him and his family and not feel abandoned to their fate" - Vasyl Nadraga said and reminded that all work on the appointment of the target state aid to pay for public services only 1,5 months is given.

According to the Minister, today the cooperation between 13 thousand companies that provide public housing services is established. Among them 3,7 thousand enterprises provide social protection management information in electronic form (or 28,5%). "In particular, in Luhansk region the electronic exchange have been established between 45% of the enterprises. But in Donetsk region the main work in this direction is yet to come" - Vasyl Nadraga said.

He also informed that the appointment of subsidies under the simplified system by regional department of labour and social protection in Ukraine was already asked by more than 77 000 citizens, in particular, in Donetsk region - 7,778 people in Luhansk - 7274.

Especially Vasyl Nadraga noted that the important task of local governments is to conduct a broad social awareness and timely response to requests received through the government and regional telephone hotlines.
