OREANDA-NEWS. August 20, 2010. Belarus’ beer output increased 9.5% on the year in January-July 2010 to 22.293 million decaliters, a representative in the concern Belgospischeprom told.

In July, beer production rose 17.7% on the year to 4.424 million decaliters.

OAO Krinitsa, based in Minsk, cut beer production 5.4% to 8.328 million decaliters.

OAO Olivaria, based in the city of Minsk, produced 4.04 million decaliters of beer in January-July, an increase of 7.1% on the year.

Syabar brewery, based in Bobruisk, in the Mogilev Region, produced 4.319 million decaliters of beer in the period, up 75.6% on the year.

OAO Lidskoe Pivo (Lida Beer), in the Grodno Region, increased beer output 12.8% to 3.21 million decaliters.

OAO Brest Beer produced 1.718 million decaliters of beer, up 7.5%.

OAO Rechitsapivo, located in the Gomel Region, produced 514,000 decaliters of beer in the period, down 20.9%.

Beer output in plastic bottles went up 9.9% to 17.028 million decaliters, in glass bottles rose 2.7% to 3.596 million decaliters, in kegs increased 38.5% to 1.488 million decaliters and in cans fell 37.1% to 182,000 decaliters.

Belarusian beer supplies to domestic wholesalers and retailers increased 4.6% on the year in January-July to 19.671 million decaliters.

Krinitsa sales went down 16.5% to 6.488 million decaliters, Olivaria sales went up 9.3% to 4.104 million decaliters, Lidskoe pivo sales increased 11.7% to 2.95 million decaliters, and sales of Brest Beer fell 7.1% to 1.376 million decaliters, of Syabar increased 72.7% to 4.118 million decaliters and of Rechitsapivo dropped 11.7% to 497,000 decaliters.
