OREANDA-NEWS. August 20, 2010. Belarus intends to license beer import from Ukraine, chairman of the Belarusian state food industry concern Ivan Danchenko said at a session of the Council of Ministers.

According to Ivan Danchenko, Belarus has completed an antidumping investigation into beer of Ukrainian origin and “the Ukrainian side has admitted that the prices were dumping ones”.

The fact gives Belarus a reason to introduce licensing for beer import from Ukraine, said the official. A regulatory document has been prepared, Ivan Danchenko said.
