OREANDA-NEWS. August 20, 2010. SOCAR President Mr. Rovnag Abdullayev, Minister of Economic Development of Azerbaijan Mr. Shahin Mustafayev, and President of Azerenerji OJSC Mr. Etibar Pirverdiyev attended Sumgait city. During the meeting they pointed out the importance of creation of the modern production complex – Sumgait Technopark in the economic map of the region.

 It was also mentioned that production of some products at the complex for various industrial spheres of the country stopped their export. They emphasized the economic and social importance of the modern enterprise corresponding to the international standards, including the establishment and expansion of analogic enterprises network here as well. Besides, by attending Organic Synthesis Plant of SOCAR Azerikimya PU, Mr. Rovnag Abdullayev, Mr. Shahin Mustafayev, and Mr. Etibar Pirverdiyev discussed the creation opportunities of the industrial small town in the near future.

The industrial small town to include numerous small and big enterprises will contribute to perspective development of Sumgait, solution of economic and social issues in the city including unemployment problem.
